Privacy Policy

How AppColors apps and this website collect, use and store your information. This policy covers all 13 Android apps published by Sakib Hossain under the AppColors name, and the website appcolors.net.

Effective 6 August 2026

Who is responsible for your data

These apps and this website are operated by Sakib Hossain, an individual developer trading as AppColors, based in Natore, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. For any privacy question or request, contact info@appcolors.net.

The short version

Most AppColors apps keep your data on your own phone. We do not sell your personal information and we do not build advertising profiles about you ourselves. One app, Cashflower, requires a Google sign-in and stores your budget in the cloud so it follows you between devices; everything an app sends anywhere is listed explicitly below.

What each app collects

Each app's Google Play listing also carries a Data safety section. This policy and that section are kept consistent with each other.

Sensitive information

Some apps handle information that deserves particular care:

  • Health and wellbeing data. Health Score, Food Diary and Mental Health Test handle body measurements, diet logs, mood entries and self-assessment answers. This information is stored on your device. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used for any purpose other than showing you your own results inside the app.
  • Financial data. Account Manager and Cashflower hold the income, expense and budget figures you enter. Account Manager keeps them on your device and can additionally protect them with a password you set. Cashflower stores them in Google Firebase so they are preserved for you; they are not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used for any purpose beyond running the app. Neither app ever asks for your bank login.
  • Mental health self-assessments are not a diagnosis. Results in Mental Health Test are educational and are not reviewed by a clinician.

The health apps listed above do not transmit your data anywhere. Cashflower is the exception among the finance apps: its budget data is held in Firebase, as described above.

Permissions and why they are requested

An app only asks for a permission when a feature you have chosen to use needs it, and only for as long as that feature is running.

  • Account Manager — Storage, only when you create or restore a backup file
  • Area and Plot Measurement — Location, only if you choose to centre the map on where you are
  • Food Diary - Macro Tracker — Camera, only while the barcode scanner is open. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded or stored.
  • Prolap: Anonymous Confessions — Notifications, if you allow them

If you decline a permission, the rest of the app continues to work; only the feature that needs it is unavailable.

Third-party services we use

Google AdMob (advertising)

These apps show ads supplied by Google AdMob: Health Score: Diet & Macros, Mental Health Test, Account Manager, Area and Plot Measurement, Cashflower: Budget Planner, Food Diary - Macro Tracker, Mandarin Racer, Bangla-English Vocabulary Game, Ai Quiz Generator, Prolap: Anonymous Confessions, Bedtime Alarm Calculator.

AdMob is provided by Google and may collect your device's advertising ID, coarse location derived from your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads, in order to serve and measure advertising. This processing is carried out by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.

These apps contain no advertising at all: Tasbeeh Counter, Sleep Cycle Calculator (Pro).

Google Firebase

Firebase, also a Google service, is used for crash reporting and for the cloud features described in the table above. Crash reports contain technical details about the failure, such as the device model, operating system version and where in the code the error occurred. They do not contain the contents of your notes, transactions, meals or test results.

Area and Plot Measurement offers optional Google sign-in. If you use it, we receive your email address and Google account identifier so your saved data can be restored on another device. You can use the app fully without signing in.

Cashflower: Budget Planner requires you to sign in with Google. Google Sign-In is the only sign-in method offered — there is no email-and-password option and no other provider. When you sign in we receive your email address and your Google account identifier, and these are used solely to associate your budget with you so it can be delivered to whichever device you sign in on. Your Google password is never seen by the app.

Cashflower: Budget Planner stores your budget in Cloud Firestore. A copy is also cached on your phone, which is why the app keeps working with no connection; changes made offline are synchronised automatically the next time you are online. Firestore security rules restrict every record to the account that created it.

AI features

Ai Quiz Generator, Prolap: Anonymous Confessions send text you submit to a third-party AI provider so a response can be generated. In AI Quiz Generator this is the topic you type; in Prolap it is the post you ask to have translated. Only that text is sent — it is not accompanied by your name, email or any identifier that would connect it to you. Do not enter information you would not want processed by a third party.

Google Play Services

All apps are distributed through Google Play and use Google Play Services for delivery, licensing and integrity checks. Google may collect data as part of that, as described in Google's own privacy policy.

Anonymous posting in Prolap

Prolap works differently from the other apps and deserves its own explanation. Posts are published under a randomly generated alias with no profile, photo or real name attached. Posts and their comments are automatically deleted 24 hours after publication.

A device identifier is retained so that notifications can be delivered to you and so that abusive accounts can be blocked. It is not shown to other users and is not used to build a profile of you. Content reported by users may be retained beyond 24 hours where it is needed to investigate a safety or abuse complaint.

Please note that anything you write in a public post is visible to other users. Anonymity is not the same as privacy — do not post details that would identify you.

How long data is kept

  • On-device data stays until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes it.
  • Backups you create remain wherever you saved them, including your own Google Drive, until you delete them.
  • Prolap posts are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
  • Cloud-synced measurements in Area and Plot Measurement are kept until you delete them or ask for your account data to be removed.
  • Cashflower budget data is kept in Firebase until you delete it in the app or ask for it to be removed.
  • Crash reports are retained by Firebase for up to 90 days.
  • Contact form messages from this website are kept in my email so I can maintain a record of our correspondence.

Deleting your data

For most AppColors apps, uninstalling deletes everything, because nothing left your device in the first place. Cashflower, Prolap and the cloud-backup feature in Area and Plot Measurement are the exceptions, because they hold data on our behalf in Firebase.

Where an app stores something in the cloud, you can request deletion by emailing info@appcolors.net from the address associated with the account, or by including enough detail for the data to be identified. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

Security

Data in transit between an app and any cloud service is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Cloud data is held in Google Firebase, protected by access rules that restrict each user's records to that user. Account Manager offers local password protection for its contents.

No system is perfectly secure. Data you keep only on your own device is protected by your device's own lock screen and encryption, so please keep those enabled.

Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some apps are listed in family-friendly Google Play categories because their subject matter is suitable for a general audience; that is not an invitation for young children to provide personal information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, contact info@appcolors.net and it will be deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the AdMob processing described above.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@appcolors.net. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with the response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

This website

appcolors.net is a static website. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a theme preference recording whether you chose light or dark mode, which never leaves your device.

If you submit the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are delivered to me by email so I can reply. That information is used only to respond to your enquiry and is never sold or shared. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard server request logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. App icons and screenshots on the site are loaded from Google's Play Store image servers.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page is updated. Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, notice will also be given in the affected app's release notes. Continuing to use an app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
